Taichung to Kaosiung - 200nt/pax by bus.

 from taichung chaoma (kuokuang bus station), take a kuokuang bus, to kaosiung bus station (kuokuang bus station), the bus station also near kaosiung railway station, the journey takes about 2,5hrs.

Kaosiung

room was clean, simple breakfast taste so local which is nice, service very kind

-lotus pond, from the city bus station (bus stop name - train station), take a bus no 205 toward 加昌站, stop at 左營市場, cost 12nt.

-fo guang shan/ EDA theme park, next kuokuang bus station kaosiung, there is another small bus station, kaohsiung nanhua bus station 高雄客運南華站 , from there take a bus no 8010/8011 to fo-guang-shan cost 91nt, or take a bus no 8501 to EDA theme park cost 63nt.

-ruifeng night market, well just take MRT to Kaohsiung Arena Station, then choose exit 1, and take a short walk about 3-5mins. Its offer taiwan side dishes and taiwan mini games!

Kaohsiung to Hualien - 726nt/pax by train.

 need go to hualien from kaohsiung? Just take a train, u can take a train from kaohsiung train station or kaohsiung THSR, estimate time 5,5hrs. Its better to book the ticket earlier, or u have to stand or sit on the aisle for a whole journey.

 find some trick when you aboard from kaohsiung THSR, because its the first origin station, so the train will be empty when its coming to pick up guests, so hurry! If u dont have ticket with seat number, go to an area that between the cars. There's an extra seats available without number, so first come first serve basis.

Hualien

***chan tai hotel_near train station FRONT exit 3-5mins walk (仟台大飯店 1000nt 4人房)

room have more space, clean, but everything seem quite old, cheap of course

-Taroko, true its the best scenic area in Taiwan, the expense quite expensive but its worth to visit. From hualien train station front exit, on the left side there is an orange building named 花蓮客運, one day unlimited pass 250nt/pax to taroko gorge, bus no 1133. On the right side there is a visitor center, ask anything and take any brochure if u want. Journey takes about 1-1,5hrs.

Hualien to Taipei - 440nt/pax by train.

 no need to rush, there are so many train serving to Taipei, journey takes about 2hrs.

Taipei

***hotel queen_near train station about, exit civic building 7-10mins walk （2nights 5500 4人房)

Clean, room quite small, facility almost same with 3-4*** hotel, too bad many ppl come for short time period rent

-Tamsui, place to eat steel egg and many taiwan's local snack, there is a famous bridge known from F4 movie. MRT taipei main station to tamsui station 40nt.

-CKS memorial hall, MRT tamsui to CKS 40nt, exit 4.

-Taipei 101, new mrt line has build, visit 101 its much more convinient, MRT cks to taipei 101 16nt, exit 4.

-Raohe Night Market, taxi from taipei 101 to raohe 110nt.

-Pingxi-shifen, an old village with active locomotive in the heart of the city, beautiful waterfall with 10-15mins walking distance from train station. There are also electric scooter for rent, and charter taxi if too lazy to walk.
Train from taipei main station to ruifang train station about 35mins 76nt, and then change another train to shifen about 25mins 20nt. Visit waterfall 100nt/pax for adult ticket, 80nt/pax for student ticket.

Back to taipei, So tired, so we take taxi to shuang xi train station (雙溪）400nt,  and take a train to taipei 69nt/pax.

Taipei back to Taichung - 230nt/pax by ho-shin bus.
