Bali South Part Half Day Tour

People said Bali Island is named among the places to avoid visiting in 2020, because of over-tourism. Well, it's because Bali is really a beautiful place, that's why a lot of people always come to see the real beauty of Bali Island. Bali island is rich of culture and nature beauty.

People whose visited Bali for the first time will visit mostly "must visit place in Bali", of course so many people there, it's a tourist destination, it's a must visit place, so c'mon!!! But if you know whose your guide/driver is, they can take you to hidden paradise in Bali, such as hidden beach (well there is not much hidden beach anymore, but you can find some that less tourist), or even a hidden waterfall.

That's why, if you try to bargain with the local driver, don't push too hard man. Give them a little bit credit, and they can take you to Bali's hidden gem. A little bit extra, will make your holiday become perfect, just thinking that you pay a little bit extra for the 5 stars service.



Back to the topic... Today, i just visited a beautiful beach in south part of Bali Island. It was less crowded, clean water, and not really far from city. For my trip today, only took me 4 hours something from where i live. I live in Jimbaran area FYI, it just near the airport.

So my trip today would be a photo stop at GWK Statue, walking in between of white stone cliff toward to the beach, end up at hidden beach Pantai Gunung Payung.

4:00pm it's quite sunny day since this morning, and i am ready to swim on the beach. Yeay!! I am with my boyfriend drive a car toward south. If you are not really sure where is the south part of Bali, you might be hear Uluwatu Temple or Pandawa Beach or Blue Point Beach... Yap, those are must visit place in Bali south part area.

4:20pm i make a photo stop on the side of the road, when you can see a big statue from afar. It's a Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue.

4:35pm arrived at Pantai Gunung Payung parking lot. Than ready for walking, going down to the beach is not hard, but slippery if you walk through the motorbike road, or stairs if you walk through pedestrian road. Around 5 minutes walk to the beach if you do not take a lot of pictures while you walk, or 20 minutes if you are a photography addict. lols...

5:00pm reach Bali hidden beach, Pantai Gunung Payung, Bali white sand beach!! Put all the belongings, and ready to swim. The sand was soft on my foot. It was beautiful, and the sun is try to hide over the clouds, so not really a hot day. Good day for swimming, no sunburn detected. At the beach, there is no shop, or sellers or people who always flock around to offer you an umbrella or chair for rent. So make sure bring your own tools, drink and snacks.

5:45pm i am done with the swimming, and now it's time for pictures time. Ohohoho.... Memories is too much important, don't forget bring camera!!

6:00pm i am off to the parking lot again, and there is a clean public toilet with running water available, 5000 IDR for shower. There are also some small street shop selling some snacks or drinks on the parking lot area. It was good because they are not swarming around the beach area.

6:20pm i am done with everything, i mean shower and change my clothes, but some people just put on the dry clothes and ride home straight away. Now it's dinner time, very very hungry. I'm just decided to order some Richeese, and eat at home.

7:00pm home sweet home, i am very satisfied with how i spend my day. It was a lazy day at home in the morning till the afternoon, once the sun is more calm, go swimming at the beach. It is Bali life!
